Spring Clean-up

Removal of any debris that may be on turf areas, under shrubs and planting beds. The turf will be dethatched and bagged, and sand will be swept up from roadway and parking lot.

Bed Maintenance

Planting beds will be cleaned, edged and weeded. A Deep hand spaded edge will be done (1) once per season. Mulch will be installed in the beds prior to May31. A layer of shredded hardwood mulch will be applied to the planting beds. A Color of your choice Black, Brown, Natural Brown or Red Mulch. Weed and grass control will include hand pulling as needed. Bed edges are kept clean and well defined throughout the season. Sidewalks are power edged to give that manicured appearance.

Parking Lot

This is included as part of the Spring Clean-up sand and debris left from the previous winter will be power swept with bobcat and sweeper then removed from the property. This will be done after hours so there is no disruption to your daily operations and to keep dust and debris away from employees and visitors cars.

Trimming

Deciduous shrubs will be trimmed three (3) times in May, July and September. Evergreens once (1) in August and Ornamental trees once (1) in September. They will be pruned according to recommended horticultural practices to maintain a clean attractive appearance. Beds with mulch ill be sheeted so clippings won’t mix into the mulch.

Mowing

All turf areas mowed weekly, at recommended heights, during the growing season. Clippings will be left on the turf as long as no readily visible clumps remain on the grass surface after mowing. Planting beds, parking areas, sidewalks, courtyards, etc. will be blown to remove excess grass clippings. Grass around fences, buildings, trees and posts and walkways and pavement will be trimmed. Litter and debris on the turf areas will be picked up and removed at each mowing.

Fall Clean-up

Remove leaves from all lawns, planter beds and walkways and parking areas to maintain a clean appearance and dispose of off-site.
